Hello readers! Welcome to my blog. Am going to stress the most simple and the most important interview question.
In the competitive cosmos, there are numerous and eminent organisations and in the same way, there are proficient folks who hunt for a career as well as for enrichment. For this reason, a greenhorn must possess skills together with excellent communication skills.
Moreover, when a tyro steps out and takes up the interview, the first and imperative question asked by the interviewer is ‘Describe yourself’.
The description of self seems to be the easiest and simple question. But how many of us answer the query with flow and ease?
Some of the novitiates struggle to answer. What may be the reasons for the struggle?
Beneath are some of the hypotheses:
How well do we know ourselves?
Do substandard communication skills hinder describing oneself?
Do one lack the clarity of mind and confidence to speak on the public podium?
What will others say/what will one comment or think post-verbalizing?
To answer this elementary question, the novice must know who he/she is. In the first place, one must not provide indistinct and exaggerated information/statements. The conversation between the interviewer and interviewee should be interactive, engaging and sanguine.
Firstly, make the introduction very comprehensible with warm greetings/salutations. Then start the pioneering by vocalizing the name, education and putting in the picture a brief introduction about the family.
Secondly, one should verbalise his/her interests, hobbies, achievements so gained followed by any internship and professional experience if any.
Thirdly, one should specify the short-term and long-term goals. Accordingly, present the inquisitive self.
Similarly, one must be confident enough and also own clarity. The folks may also struggle to speak or encounter fear to speak on a public platform/experienced professionals. To overcome the nerve-racking scenario, strive to speak in front of the mirror for 10-15 minutes. It seems to be a silly practice but it’s worth trying.
Furthermore, talking about the comments, it’s always predominant. Never bother! As quoted be the cheerleader of self and proceed forward vibing positively, specifically putting persistent efforts.
PER DIEM MANTRA :
I can do it.
I will do it.
Finally, it is very important to thank the interviewer for the opportunity so provided.
I wish I have provided some useful input.
Therefore, eloquence in speech, confidence and assertiveness create the first and best impression.
